Optus Stadium
Optus Stadium is one of Australia’s premier sports and entertainment venues, with a seating capacity of over 60,000. Our team was proud to contribute to this landmark project by supplying and installing a comprehensive range of doors and door hardware designed for durability, accessibility, and safety.
We provided over 1,200 doors across the stadium, including:
- Fire-rated steel doors for emergency exits and service areas
- Acoustic timber doors for media and VIP suites
- Automatic sliding doors for main entrances and high-traffic zones
- Heavy-duty access doors for back-of-house and maintenance areas
- Accessible toilet and Changing Places doors with electric operation
Our hardware solutions were selected for performance and compliance:
- Stainless steel lever handles and push plates
- Hydraulic door closers for smooth and secure operation
- Electronic access control systems integrated with stadium security
- Panic bars and emergency exit devices meeting Australian safety standards
- Custom finishes to match architectural aesthetics
All doors were installed in accordance with AS1428.1 standards for accessibility. We worked closely with architects and consultants to ensure seamless integration of:
- Electric door operators for Changing Places facilities
- Braille signage and tactile indicators
- Wide clear openings for wheelchair access
We sourced materials with a focus on longevity and environmental responsibility, including:
- FSC-certified timber
- Recyclable steel components
- Low-VOC finishes
